Secada gets tryout at the Tropicana
The Tropicana is in love with all things Miami these days, so this suave singer might be invited to unpack his bags and move right in.
For now though, Jon Secada has at least one weekend to showcase a career that ranges from '90s pop ("Just Another Day") to Broadway musicals such as "Grease."
He recently sang a duet on the album "Elaine Paige and Friends" and is sure to preview his own new album, "Otra Vez," which is due Feb. 8.
Tickets are $66.50-$88.50 for shows at 9:30 p.m. today and Saturday in the Tiffany Theatre at the Tropicana, 3801 Las Vegas Blvd. South; call 739-2417.
