Thousands of people want Iggy Azalea to lose her Billboard rap award — VIDEO

Everyone’s daily dose of Iggy Azalea hate comes in the form of a new petition to strip her of her recent Billboard Music Awards win for “Top Rap Song.”

The reasoning behind the petition actually seems to be legit, as the creator points out that Iggy’s song “Fancy” was released before the eligibility time period for this year’s awards.

As per Billboard’s site, this year’s eligibility period was from March 10, 2014 through March 8, 2015. Iggy’s hit, even though it basically ran radio last summer, was released in February 2014.

The petition has since taken off and amassed over 19,000 signatures, with a majority of the people claiming that Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” is the rightful winner of the award.
