Who got snubbed for a Grammy nomination?
December 5, 2014 - 6:28 pm
Nominations for the top categories for the 57th annual Grammy Awards are in, but who did they miss?
- “The Hanging Tree” — James Newton Howard (ft. Jennifer Lawrence)
Know that song that got stuck in your head after watching “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay”? Well, that’s in the Top 100 of Billboard this month, and you probably won’t hear it at the Grammys.
- “Drunk in Love” — Beyonce
This song was everywhere. And Bey was just named the 10th most lucrative recording artist in the world. What gives? She’s on the list under “Best urban contemporary album,” but still.
- Imagine Dragons
Their popularity on the charts is growing, but you wouldn’t know it from this year’s nominations.
- One Direction
The ever popular Brit-based band is also absent from the 2015 list. The teenyboppers will not be pleased.
Looks like this awards season is all about the bass.
