M. Ward is the him and Zooey Deschanel is the she of She & Him, playing The Cosmo.
She is actress and singer-songwriter Zooey Deschanel, who totally kicked ass in “Elf.”
He is M. Ward, an indie folk tomcat who’s collaborated with Jenny Lewis, Beth Orton, Neko Case and Cat Power, to name but a few.
Together, they’re She & Him, whose repertoire is alternately puppy-dog-cute and hopelessly lovelorn with hearts as heavy as anvils.
When they play The Cosmo, we hope you can hear them over the crowd’s sighing.
