Professional arm wrestling hits Las Vegas

The gnarliest thing I’ve seen this week is an arm-wrestling YouTube video of ex-football player Ben Ross breaking his arm (you can see and hear his humerus pop).

Arm wrestling is making its move to try to strong-arm itself into pop culture.

On Sunday, club Vinyl in the Hard Rock Hotel hosts the Pay-per-view “Armfight #43 — Vendetta in Vegas,” featuring the manly man arms on men from the USA, Canada, the Ukraine and Poland, bearing names so manly they could kill me with their consonants — Lupkes, Pushkar, Bresnan, Prudnik, Zolcinski, Gobby and Soghoyan.
