It’s an all-Jay weekend with live Vegas shows, PBS special
November 20, 2014 - 9:49 pm
Jay Leno hasn’t exactly been hiding in his garage since he left “The Tonight Show.”
Oh, he’s spent plenty of time in “Jay Leno’s Garage,” to be sure. He just hasn’t been hiding. The action inside the Big Dog Garage housing Leno’s massive car collection has grown from a website and webisodes to an actual CNBC TV show recently announced for next year.
You can be so busy watching Leno go off-roading with Ivan “Ironman” Stewart or riding the world’s fastest electric motorcycle that you can forget he also does comedy.
You shouldn’t. Especially on a weekend when you can chase Friday and Saturday’s stand-up shows at The Mirage by watching him receive the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. The ceremonies took place last month at the Kennedy Center but will air on PBS stations, including KLVX-TV, Channel 10 in Las Vegas, at 8 p.m. Sunday.
