NASCAR drivers to take ‘victory lap’ on Strip
Motor sports fans get a front-row seat at 3:30 p.m. today when NASCAR's top 12 drivers parade along the Las Vegas Strip in the NASCAR Victory Lap, part of the annual NASCAR Champions Week festivities.
The Victory Lap starts at Planet Hollywood Resort and travels north on the Strip to Spring Mountain Road, where driver Tony Stewart will perform a celebratory burnout in his championship car.
The procession then heads back south on the Strip, and each driver will perform a pit stop in front of the Bellagio fountains. At Harmon Avenue, drivers turn east and head to the Hard Rock Hotel, where the event concludes.
