• The Las Vegas Ice Center plans to host its eighth annual Winter Wonderland public skate sessions through Jan. 4. The ice center is closed Dec. 25. Sessions are three hours long and are offered from 9 a.m. to noon, 12:15 to 3:15 p.m., 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. and 6:45 to 9:45 p.m. Dec. 26-30 and Jan. 2 and 3. Dec. 31, no 6:45 p.m. lesson will be offered. Jan. 1, no 9 a.m. to noon lesson will be offered. Jan. 4, no 3:30 or 6:45 p.m. lesson will be offered. The 4,200-square-foot rink is set to feature a fire with s’mores roasting, periodic snowfall on the weekends and holiday movies on Mondays.
