  • The South Point, 9777 Las Vegas Blvd. South, is set to host the Badass Dash 7K obstacle course challenge and run at 8 a.m. May 24. A portion of proceeds will go to Autism Speaks and the Dave Rice Foundation. The event will transform the arena, parking garage, concourse and outdoor areas into obstacle course challenges. Divisions include elite, recreational and K-9 for owners and pets. Children 4 to 13 can compete in a 200-yard obstacle course dash. Kids 7 to 13 can run a 1-mile course. A post race festival with live entertainment, a beer garden, food and beverages is planned. Registration starts at $20 for children and $82.50 for adults.   • City of the World Inc. plans to present Artists Unleashed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 24 at Bruce Trent Park, 8851 Vegas Drive. The event is set to include a 1-mile fun walk, a pet show, food vendors and a music and art show. The walkers’ fee is $20 for adults and $15 for seniors. Walkers 17 or younger will be admitted free.
