‘Total Divas’ stars offer shapely tips

I am not turning this column into Cosmopolitan magazine, but I have to say this: Are you ready for diet and exercise insights from the Bella Twins?

These WWE wrestlers — stars of E!’s reality show “Total Divas” — will act as Friday’s celebrity glitterati at the grand opening of Sugar Factory in Town Square.

So I got Nikki and Brie Bella on the phone for a Q&A, and when Brie lost focus for a second, Nikki berated her like a sister.

Nikki: “Hey Brie, do you want to stop being rude?”

Brie: “How am I being rude? You know I had to get a room key, I told you that.”

Nikki: “Wow.”

Question: “You’re both in better shape than most of us. What does a girl have to do to look like you?”

Nikki: “We do hot yoga weekly. I especially try to get it in two or three times a week. Not only that, I’m lifting weights every other day. And on my off days, I’m doing 30 minutes of cardio.

“It’s your diet (that’s more important). I do six days with no starch, no sugar, no dairy. But on that seventh day, morning till night, I get to do whatever I want, and I do a lot of sugar.”

Brie: “It would be a sin not to (eat sugar). You know women. It’s our No. 1 temptation. But because I am a professional wrestler, I have my designed cheat days. On those designed cheat days, I consume sugar all day long.”

Nikki: “You gotta keep that curve. That’s what the men like. That’s why I squat. Every time I lift, in my head, I’m singing, ‘Big booty ho, big booty ho.’ That’s what gets me through my workouts.

“The No. 1 secret that a lot of people have — and that people don’t realize is the best thing to look good — is water. Drink as much water as you can in a day. All of a sudden, you’ll notice your cellulite’s going away, your skin’s looking good, your water weight’s leaving you. Water is the No. 1 thing. And most of the time, it’s free.”

Question: “Do the Bella Twins ever plan to fight in Vegas’ UFC, as other WWE stars have?”

Nikki: “That would be so cool. But in the end: No. I’ve broken bones, and the healing process on broken bones is horrible. I just came back from a stress fracture, and stress fractures are so fragile. It made me think about the rest of my life. If I have kids someday, I want to play with them without pain.”

Brie: “The Ronda Rousey arm bar doesn’t look too pleasant. I wouldn’t want to get stuck in a (UFC) cage with that.”

Nikki: “But I could break her arm.”

Brie (skeptical): “You think you could break Ronda Rousey’s arm.”

Nikki: “Yeah.”

Brie: “I’d love to see that.”
