Delaware couple now proud homeowners to two residences at One Las Vegas

Frequent visitors to Las Vegas, Bruce and Sharon Gillespie of Delaware decided in 2015 to permanently surrender to their love of the city when they purchased their dream home at One Las Vegas, the twin 20-story condominium towers located on the south end of Las Vegas Boulevard.

As their love affair with the city and One Las Vegas grew, the Gillespies deepened their commitment to the luxury-inspired lifestyle they enjoy at One Las Vegas by recently moving into a larger residence and keeping their original home as an investment.

“When we began looking at options for homes in the valley a couple years ago, we searched valleywide, including Summerlin and Lake Las Vegas,” Bruce Gillespie said. “We kept gravitating back to One Las Vegas because of its competitive pricing, central location and accessibility to dining, shopping and outdoor attractions, such as Red Rock Canyon. In April 2015, we sold our Delaware home, got in our car with our beloved Labrador, drove to Las Vegas and never looked back.”

The Gillespies knew One Las Vegas was special for many reasons, including its flexible financing options, such as down payments as little as 10 percent down, 15- and 30-year fixed mortgages and even Veterans Affairs loans for active and retired military personnel.

“In September 2015, we moved into a three-bedroom home, and it’s even more perfect than we imagined,” said Sharon Gillespie. “Our location at One Las Vegas is in a very desirable area, and we are very confident in our decision to further invest in the community. In fact, the home we just recently purchased is already rising in value, so we feel especially good about our decision.”

The Gillespies enjoy their new home and exceptional quality of life, and over the months, they have particularly appreciated additional enhancements made to the community, including the nearly 50 new guest-parking spaces.

“The community continues to impress us with their friendliness, and the staff does everything they can to make all residents and their guests feel right at home,” said Bruce Gillespie. “We have always kept a close eye on the housing market, following industry expert discussions surrounding the impending rise of interest rates.

The Gillespies especially appreciate the community’s many on-site amenities, including Splash, the resort-inspired swimming pool; Show, the movie theater room; and Transform, the two-story, state-of-the-art fitness center. With everything nearby, including grocery stores, pharmacies, shopping and a handful of close Starbucks locations, the Gillespies couldn’t be happier.

Homes at One Las Vegas range from 831 to 2,857 square feet, with many floor plans offering spectacular views of both the mountains and the Strip. One-bedroom homes are priced from the low $200s, two-bedroom homes from the high $200s and three-bedroom homes from the low $400s. The penthouse, offering 3,000 square feet of sweeping views, is priced at $1.1 million.

One Las Vegas is located close to Interstate 15 and the 215 Beltway and is just minutes from McCarran International Airport. Town Square.
