Add Some Personality

The cupcake is a fun, playful, even whimsical sort of pastry, and there’s nothing in the culinary world sadder than a boring cupcake.

Fortunately, Sili-Feet Reusable Silicone Baking Cups ensure that never happens.

The standard 2 1/2-inch-tall cups are made of silicone — that means no shortening required — and feature tiny legs attached to clownish shoes at the bottom.

Just make your cupcakes as you normally would. Then, when it’s time for the icing, treat the cupcake as you would the potato when you’re making a Mr. Potato Head.

Add some frosting arms. A chocolate chip nose. A hairdo made out of jimmies. Better yet, raid your daughter’s Barbie wardrobe for a classy outfit and go crazy.

The possibilities are as endless as your imagination.

Each set of four includes a blue, orange, yellow and purple cup, and retails for $9.95. Available at Sur Le Table at Desert Passage mall, 3663 Las Vegas Blvd. South, or online (www.surlatable.com).
