Be a Model: Get your shot at becoming a model beginning today at Fashion Show mall. The Global Model and Talent Search Contest takes place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with pre-registration in front of Macy's and Neiman Marcus. Men who are between 6-foot and 6-foot-2 and women between 5-foot-7 and 6-foot and all age 18 and older can register for $35. Callbacks will take place Sunday, and those selected will receive their registration fee of $35 and representation.

On the Runway: See the latest from Timberland and Johnston & Murphy on the runway in the Great Hall at Fashion Show mall today through Sunday. Runway shows take place from noon to 6 p.m. on the hour. Image Model Search winner Aidan O'Brien will be on stage during the Saturday and Sunday shows.

Travel Deluxe: Molton Brown will hold a trunk show featuring its travel products June 15-16 at Neiman Marcus at Fashion Show mall.

Lose the Shoes: Most of us have shoes we no longer wear, yet millions of people in the United States and around the world are in desperate need of footwear. Brighton Collectibles is teaming up with Soles4Souls, a nonprofit organization that provides shoes. Bring in a pair of gently worn shoes to any Brighton Collectibles store June 15-16 and receive $25 off a pair of new Brighton shoes. Footwear collected during this event will go to Soles4Souls.

Jewelry with Style: A Judith Ripka boutique opened at the Forum Shops at Caesars. The store showcases Ripka's new collection of 18-karat gold and diamond jewelry.

Fashion Camp: Teenagers interested in a career in fashion will have the opportunity to apply for Cotton's Fashion Camp at Fashion Show mall. The Aug. 13-18 camp is geared toward teens interested in pursuing careers in fashion and design. Campers will meet with industry leaders, receive fashion instruction in a variety of fields including retail merchandising, fashion buying, retail management, fashion styling and photography and fashion writing and editing. Fashion camp is open to students entering 10th, 11th or 12th grades in fall 2007. The cost is $150 per camper.
