■ A Virginia teacher is charged with assault and battery after allegedly biting a 13-month-old boy who reportedly had bitten a teacher. Just another day at the Eye for an Eye Preschool.

◀ Every point in a Patriots-Raiders game is scored by a player with a Polish surname. As they say in Polish, “Yowza!” (OK, that’s how they say it in English, too.)

■ A Los Angeles attorney is in hot water for allegedly posting digitally altered photos of herself with famous people. The ones of her posing with Raymond Burr, Clarence Darrow and Jackie Chiles was the tipoff.
