Mr. Chow to open at Caesars Palace in December

After what restaurant founder Michael Chow calls a decades-long flirtation with Las Vegas — and reports of impending arrival for the past several months — a date, of sorts, has been set for the opening of Mr. Chow at Caesars Palace: December.
The legendary Mr. Chow, known for mixing fine dining with a self-described "raucous" atmosphere, was founded in London in 1968, followed by the Beverly Hills location in 1974. Currently there are two Mr. Chows in New York and one each in Miami and Malibu.
As each has its own design, the Caesars Palace Mr. Chow will center on an only-in-Vegas "suspended kinetic sculpture" designers say is unique in the city. On the second story overlooking the Garden of the Gods pool area, the 250-seat restaurant will have terrace seating and will be accessed by private elevators off the casino.
In keeping with the times Mr. Chow has a socially focused menu, with dishes served family style. Specialties include Beijing Duck, hand-pulled noodles and Green Prawns (pictured), which, rumor has it, get their vibrant color from spinach.
