June 3, 2012 - 1:03 am
Yujin Seo interviewed students at Green Valley High School.
Angeline Dones, senior
"For undergrad, I want to major in bioengineering for a few simple reasons. Biology intrigues me, hospitals amuse me, and my dad said I should follow his footsteps and become an engineer, so I thought I'd give it a shot."
Ashley Martinez, senior
"I chose to major in entrepreneurship because I want to become a nonprofit social entrepreneur."
Chris Aguayo, junior
"I want to major in astrophysics because I have always enjoyed physics and space operations and I want to become an astrophysicist."
Schaller DeSart, freshman
"I want to major in marine biology because I really enjoy working with animals and learning about their lives."
Alex Christian, junior
"Veterinary medicine has been my passion ever since I was a child because I have always been an animal lover. I've grown up with three dogs since the day I was born and they've been a big part of my life. I want to contribute to something meaningful to me."
Robert Mafara, sophomore
"I want to major in forensic sciences because I find the process of analyzing crime scenes and the data that you obtain intriguing. Also, it's the closest I can get to law enforcement without being too physical."
