Steakhouse hosting Brazilian Outdoor Festival
Via Brasil Steakhouse will host its second Brazilian Outdoor Festival from 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday at the restaurant, 1225 S. Fort Apache Road. It'll include Brazilian food and drink, live music, samba dancers, stilt walkers and fire breathers. Admission is $12 for adults, free for kids 12 and younger. Emeril's New Orleans Fish House at MGM Grand, 3799 Las Vegas Blvd. South, is hosting an oyster festival today through Sept. 27. It'll begin with the Oyster Fest Kickoff Happy Hour from 2 to 4 p.m. today, featuring some of the special menu selections, for $35. Dishes to be featured during the fest include absinthe-poached Gulf oysters with blue crabmeat and potato-crusted pompano and oyster bread pudding.
Pigs for the Kids, a benefit for Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation, Cure 4 The Kids Foundation and the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, will run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at Craig Ranch Regional Park, 628 W.
