On Wednesday, the College of Southern Nevada hosted its Fall 2017 Career Fair that was open to students and to the public. Public job seekers were 40 percent of the 450 participants, officials said.
Senior specialist for career services Ryan Rishling said the main goals of the fair were to not only get people hired, but to provide a safe place for students to interact with employers and relieve the tension of the unknown.
