1 hospitalized, 1 in custody in stabbing near Strip
One person was hospitalized and another was taken into custody following a late Monday night stabbing near the Strip, Las Vegas police said.
Officers were called about 9:30 p.m. to the Siegel Suites at 3890 Graphic Center Dr., near Tropicana Avenue and Valley View Boulevard, where they found a person, whom they could only describe as male, with multiple stab wounds, Metro Lt. Loren Napier said.
He was taken to University Medical Center with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening.
Witnesses told police that a fight broke out beforehand. Napier said the incident was drug-related and one person was booked.
Police did not immediately provide more information on the person in custody.
