1 killed, 1 injured in shooting near Charleston, US-95
One person was killed and another was wounded in a shooting in the east valley, Las Vegas police said.
Officers and medical crews were called about 12:45 p.m. to the 1370 block of May Avenue, near the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and U.S Highway 95, Clark County fire department call logs show.
One person was confirmed dead at the scene and another suffered a gunshot wound to the leg that was not considered life-threatening, Metro Lt. John Liberty said.
The second person was taken to University Medical Center.
More information, including age and gender of those shot, was not immediately available.
No shooter or arrests information, as well as new details, were available Sunday evening.
