1 person dead after shooting in northeast Las Vegas
A man was shot to death late Thursday night in the northeast valley, and Las Vegas police are looking the shooter.
Police found the man with multiple gunshot wounds near the sidewalk in the 4100 block of East Cheyenne Avenue, near Las Vegas Boulevard North, just before 11 p.m.
He was taken to University Medical Center, where he died. His identity will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
Police said the man was walking in the area when he was shot.
No arrests have been made and the motive remains unknown, police said. There was no description of the shooter available.
