1 stabbed near downtown Las Vegas; another in custody
One person was hospitalized and another was taken into custody after a Thursday night stabbing in downtown Las Vegas, according to Metro.
It happened just before midnight near Owens Avenue and A Street. An AMR ambulance crew saw the stabbing and was able to intervene, police said. A patrol unit also was in the area and responded promptly.
The person who was stabbed was taken to University Medical Center and was expected to survive, police said.
Metro was unable to provide any more details about the people involved.
