A person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a southwest valley crash Friday morning, police say.
The vehicle involved crashed into a light pole just before 4:30 a.m. near the intersection of Warm Springs Road and Buffalo Drive, Metro Lt. Tom Melton said.
The driver was taken to University Medical Center.
Metro's Fatal Detail is investigating the crash, Melton said.
