2 injured in U-Haul rollover at Hacienda and Rainbow

Traffic is creeping at the intersection of Hacienda Avenue and Rainbow Boulevard after a U-Haul truck rolled over, according to Las Vegas police.

Two people were hurt, police said.

It happened at 4:22 p.m., police said. A crash on southbound Rainbow made the U-Haul roll over into the northbound lanes, Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.

Two people were attended to by staff at nearby Spring Valley Hospital and taken shortly after to University Medical Center, Meltzer said.

Meltzer advised drivers to avoid the area.
