2 men hospitalized after morning shooting near Linq

Two men were hospitalized after a shooting near the Linq on Saturday , according to Las Vegas police.

Officers responded at 6:22 a.m. to Linq Lane and East Flamingo Road just east of the Las Vegas Strip where a person was shot.

The man was taken to University Medical Center with wounds that were not life-threatening, according to Metro spokesman Lt. Jeff Goodwin.

A second man walked into a hospital later the same morning with minor wounds related to the shooting, Goodwin said about 11 a.m. He was transported to UMC.

No arrests were made and no suspect information was available, Goodwin said.

A small section of Linq Lane remained closed north of Flamingo while police investigated.
