Two people were wounded Thursday morning in a northwest valley shooting, Las Vegas police said.
Officers were called shortly before 9 a.m. to the 5800 block of Westport Circle, near the intersection of Gowan Road and Jones Boulevard, Metro spokesman officer Jesse Roybal said.
It wasn’t immediately clear what happened, Roybal said,
Both people shot were taken to University Medical Center where their condition was not immediately known, police said.
Metro’s Violent Crimes detectives were still on the scene about 10:45 a.m.
