3 adults, baby hospitalized after crash in western Las Vegas

Updated March 10, 2017 - 1:26 am

Three adults and an infant were hospitalized after a crash in the west valley.

About 3:30 p.m. Thursday, a Lincoln Continental and a black Dodge Challenger collided on West Charleston Boulevard and Faircenter Parkway, near Arville Street, the Metropolitan Police Department said. The sedan occupants — a 73-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman — had serious injuries, a release later said.

The Continental was traveling south on South Decatur Boulevard and attempted to make a left into the parking lot near an Olive Garden, Metro Lt. Grant Rogers said. The Lincoln, traveling north on Decatur, crashed with the Challenger.

The adults were taken to University Medical Center, Metro said. The Challenger driver had moderate injuries.

The infant was riding in the Challenger, Rogers said. Location of treatment for the infant, as well as its age, could not be confirmed.
