3 shot in central valley off MLK

Three people were shot Wednesday night in the central valley.
Police said the shooting happened at about 7:30 p.m. at 1424 Lawry Ave., a small home off Martin Luther King Boulevard just north of Lake Mead Boulevard. The three people were taken to UMC hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, said Metro Lt. Kendell Bell.
It was unclear what started the shooting and whether other people were involved. Bell said the investigation is ongoing.
