4 injured in Wednesday morning crash

Four people were transported to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred about 6:20 a.m. when the male driver of one vehicle, westbound on Desert Inn Road near Torrey Pines Drive, crashed into a second vehicle in the intersection. Las Vegas police say he admitted to causing the crash.
The four occupants of the second vehicle were transported to University Medical Center Trauma. The female driver and a 2-year-old passenger were in and out of consciousness at the scene, police say. The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.
Impairment is not suspected but the investigation was ongoing.
