Allegiant jet lands safely at McCarran after engine issue
An Allegiant Air flight that took off from McCarran International Airport on Thursday morning returned after a reported engine issue, the airport said.
First responders were called to the runway minutes after the plane took off at 8:45 a.m. Flight 580, which was headed to Bellingham, Washington, landed safely minutes later, airport spokeswoman Christine Crews said.
None of the 132 passengers on board was injured, Crews said.
