As many as 19 people displaced after apartment building fire east of the Strip

The Clark County Fire Department is investigating a apartment building fire that displaced up to 19 people on Sunday.
Firefighters responded to 303 East Harmon Ave. just after 5 p.m. and found a heavy fire in a second floor apartment going up through the roof of the building, Clark County Fire Chief Greg Cassell said.
When the first crews arrived, they called in a second alarm bringing a total of 50 firefighters to the scene. The fire was extinguished in about 35 minutes.
The cause and cost of damages have not yet been determined. Cassell said no injuries were reported as of 6 p.m.
