Boulder City’s Damboree parade flies on ‘Wings of Freedom’

Boulder City residents turned out Friday morning as participants and watchers for the 66th annual Boulder City Damboree Celebration “Wings of Freedom” parade.

The parade, which included a designated water fight section, was a main event among a full day of activities for the city’s Fourth of July celebration.

Festivities continue in the afteroon with carnival games, food and drink at Broadbent Park. More music, food and games will begin at 6 p.m. at Veterans’ Memorial Park, 1650 Buchanan Blvd., followed by a 35-minute fireworks show, beginning at 9 p.m.
