Coroner IDs man killed in rollover crash in south Las Vegas

The Henderson man killed Wednesday night in a rollover crash in the south Las Vegas Valley has been identified by the Clark County coroner.

Kush Bhatnagar, 29, died at the scene of the 10:40 p.m. crash near Eastern Avenue and Pebble Road. The county coroner ruled his death an accident.

Metropolitan Police Department officers received reports of a black sedan, which police said was being driven recklessly by Bhatnagar. As the sedan traveled west on Pebble Road, according to police, Bhatnagar tried to pass another vehicle but hit the side of it. Kisfalvi said that second vehicle, a red sedan, was forced into oncoming traffic and was struck by a silver minivan.

Bhatnagar reportedly lost control, and his car rolled over and struck a water truck. Three occupants in the sedan and minivan were hospitalized with minor to moderate injuries, according to police.

This is the 100th traffic-related death Metro has investigated this year.
