Coroner IDs man who died after Las Vegas crash on Saturday

Updated October 11, 2017 - 2:37 am

The Clark County Coroner’s office has identified the man killed Saturday after crashing into a light pole and fire hydrant in the central valley.

Police said Juan Jimenez, 43, crashed Saturday night at the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and Saylor Way. He was transported to University Medical Center where he later died.

The coroner determined Jimenez died from blunt force trauma to his upper body. Police said he may have suffered a medical episode before the crash. His death was ruled an accident.
