The North Las Vegas woman who died Wednesday in a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Jones Boulevard and Tropical Parkway was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office Thursday.
Gloria Jackson, 66, died at the scene, Las Vegas police said.
Jackson was driving a 2002 Dodge Intrepid on Tropical when she and a 40-year-old woman, traveling on Jones in a 2011 Dodge Durango, entered the intersection at the same time just after 7 a.m., police said.
Police said the second woman suffered moderate injuries and waited at the scene to talk to them.
This was the 34th traffic-related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction this year.
