Jerry’s Nugget Casino is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and over the years, the coffee shop has become famous because it exemplifies what a traditional Las Vegas coffee shop menu is all about: 140 entrees, 56 desserts and 68 beverage selections. Jerry’s Famous Prime Rib is rubbed in a special marinade, roasted at 200 degrees for 10 hours and served with a potato, rice or an ear of corn, along with a soup or salad. The award-winning dessert menu features 25 cakes (Angel Coconut, Hawaiian, marble, pineapple upside down), pies and cheesecakes, banana splits, Bavarian cream eclairs and shakes and sundaes. There are Greek entrees (spanakopita, Greek spaghetti, pastitsio), Mexican favorites such as fajitas, enchiladas and burritos, and steaks, seafood (rainbow trout, salmon), top round hamburgers, soups, salads (California Cobb, shrimp, tostada) and sandwiches (tuna melt, hot turkey, French dip, BLT, New York steak, Monte Cristo). Breakfast is always busy with Meat Lovers Skillet, bacon and egg sandwich, build-your-own omelets, breakfast burrito, strawberry waffle, biscuits and gravy, huevos rancheros and country fried steak and eggs. Corned beef hash and eggs and egg Benedicts are served Saturday and Sunday. Hamburgers begin at $6.99, and a slice of cake is $4.50. Jerry’s Famous Coffee Shop is open 24/7.
