Austin Chapman has achieved Eagle Scout status in the Boy Scouts of America.
A member of Troop 6, Chapman installed three bat boxes at the Clark County Wetlands Park for his Eagle project.
He enjoys video games, track and field, camping and playing the cello.
Chapman graduated from Del Sol High School with honors in June. He plans to attend the University of Nevada, Reno this fall.
He is the son of Barry and Jenny Chapman of Las Vegas.
Aaron Moss has achieved Eagle Scout status in the Boy Scouts of America.
A member of Troop 6, Moss restored two of Del Sol High School's concession stands for his Eagle project.
He enjoys video games, reading, playing violin, track and field, cross country and camping.
Moss graduated from Del Sol High School with honors in June. He plans to attend the University of Nevada, Reno this fall.
He is the son of Kyle and Marian Moss of Las Vegas.
Elia Neeley, 10, was named to the honor roll at Fertitta Middle School, where she will enter seventh grade this fall.
An avid reader and writer, her favorite subject is science. She hopes to attend medical school and become a doctor.
Elia is the daughter of Mario and Marie Neeley of Las Vegas.
Immanuel Neeley, 8, has been admitted to the Gifted and Talented Education program at Dondero Elementary School, where he will enter third grade this fall.
A straight-A student, Immanuel has received academic awards in math, reading, writing and citizenship.
He has also received the Principal's Award and the Governor's Award for perfect attendance for the year.
His favorite subject is math, and he enjoys tae kwon do .
He hopes to become a lawyer, a doctor and a scientist.
Immanuel is the son of Mario and Marie Neeley of Las Vegas.
Nika Ayanna Sewell, 17, attended the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs United National Pilgrimage for Youth from June 23 to July 5.
She and 49 other delegates from around the world traveled to Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York, Washington, D.C., and Canada.
Sewell is a senior at Valley High School.
Alexander Schmitz, 14, is the senior steward of Oasis Chapter of the International Order of De Molay, which teaches leadership, public speaking, patriotism and love of family.
He attends West Preparatory Academy and lives in North Las Vegas.
Alexander is the son of Ed Schmitz.
Kathleen Scott of North Las Vegas has graduated from Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professions in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Science in nursing.
Elizabeth Fildes of Las Vegas has been named to the dean's list at the Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton, N.J., for the spring 2012 semester.
She is a voice performance major.
Jerrick Silla has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
A 2011 graduate of Sierra Vista High School, Silla is the son of Angelita Silla of Las Vegas.
Casey Goodwin of Las Vegas and Loraine Wiley of North Las Vegas have been named to the dean's list at the University of Houston for the spring 2012 semester.
Zachary Rupert has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
A 2011 graduate of Liberty High School in Henderson, he is the son of Todd and Susan Rupert of Las Vegas.
Alyssa Everett of Henderson has been named to the dean's list at Randolph College in Lynchburg, Va., for the spring 2012 semester.
