The Clark County coroner’s office responded Saturday night to a reported drowning near Lake Mohave, police said.

Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Peter Kisfalvi said the coroner responded about 10 p.m. to an area near Cottonwood Cove Resort and Marina, east of Searchlight, for the person who drowned.

The coroner’s office will identify the deceased once next of kin is notified.

No more information was available Saturday night.
