Expect a sunny but windy summer day in the Las Vegas Valley

Sunny skies and winds gusting as high as 30 mph are in store for Las Vegas Valley residents Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday saw a high of 104 degrees, and Sunday’s high is expected to reach 102, meteorologist Caleb Steele said. Sunday will likely have 15 to 20 mph winds and gusts as high as 30 mph, he said. Sunday could see “patches of high clouds,” Steele said.

Seasonal, summertime temperatures are expected Monday and Tuesday.

Temperatures will slightly cool to 100 degrees Monday and rise to 104 by Tuesday, the weather service said.
