July 6, 2014 - 4:02 pm
The Clark County Fire Department arrived to a post office Sunday afternoon to discover that a portable toilet on the roof was in flames, the fire department said.
The call for the fire, which was extinguished shortly after, came in about 2:30 p.m. to the post office located at 455 E. Pebble Road, near the Bermuda Road intersection, according to a fire department monitoring site.
When they arrived, firefighters discovered the blaze on the post-office roof, which a fire department spokesman said was recently being worked on.
Only light smoke was reported inside the building and the flames did not extend past the roof, the spokesman said.
The fire was under investigation Sunday afternoon. No damage cost has been established, according to the fire department.
