Inmate serving time for 1994 Clark County murder dies
An inmate convicted of murder died Tuesday in Carson City, the Nevada Department of Corrections released Wednesday.
Bobbie Mills, 49, was housed at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City. He died at the center’s regional medical facility, the corrections department wrote in a release.
Mills was committed from Clark County and was serving consecutive sentences of life without parole for first-degree murder and five years to life with the possibility of parole for kidnapping. He had been in prison since May 1994.
The coroner from the Carson City sheriff’s office will determine Mills’ cause of death.
