A juvenile was seriously injured in a crash Wednesday afternoon in the northeast valley, according to Las Vegas police.
Officers were called at 3:45 p.m. to the intersection of East Craig Road and North Nellis Boulevard where a pedestrian, described only as a "juvenile," was struck.
The juvenile was taken to University Medical Center with injuries that appeared to be serious, but not life-threatening, Metro wrote in a release about 4:50 p.m.
Northbound and southbound lanes of Nellis were closed briefly between Craig and Las Vegas Boulevard. Traffic reopened by 4:50, about one hour after the crash happened, the release said.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
