Las Vegas City Hall site of active shooter drill Friday

Las Vegas City Hall will serve as the site of an active shooter drill for local first responders Friday morning.

The streets around City Hall, at 495 S. Main St., will be closed Friday morning. Clark and Lewis avenues between Main and First streets will be closed, and there may be delays along Main Street Friday morning.

Participating agencies include Metropolitan Police, North Las Vegas Police, Henderson Police, Las Vegas city marshals, Las Vegas Municipal Court marshals, and the Las Vegas, North Las Vegas Clark County and Henderson fire departments.

The drill won’t affect access to the Jimmy John’s sandwich shop at City Hall.
