Las Vegas marshals looking for suspects in car burglaries

City marshals are trying to identify people they say are connected to a series of vehicle burglaries where windows were broken and credit cards were stolen, Las Vegas officials said.

The three break-ins occurred at city parks during March, the city of Las Vegas Deputy Marshal Unit said.

The first one, in the northwest valley, occurred about 8:30 a.m. on March 7 at Bettye Wilson Soccer Complex, Lake Mead Boulevard and Tenaya Way, officials said.

Six days later at the same time and about four miles north, burglars targeted at least one vehicle at W. Wayne Bunker Family Park.

The third incident took place about 10:45 a.m. on March 20 at Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex, 7901 W. Washington Ave.

During the three incidents, vehicle windows were smashed and purses were taken. Purchases were made using credit cards from those purses, the marshals said.

Anyone with information can contact city marshals at 702-229-3223. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
