Las Vegas morning update for Sunday, October 14th — VIDEO

Here are your Sunday morning headlines:

1. A woman took her first steps Friday, nearly two weeks after being shot during the Oct. 1 shooting. The bullet entered Tina Frost’s right eye, and damaged her brain, leaving her in a medically induced coma. She is being transferred to John Hopkins University, where her family and support system is, and is expected to make a full recovery.

2. Wooden crosses memorializing the 58 victims of the Las Vegas shooting will be moved to the Clark County Museum on Nov. 12. The county announced Friday they will also be collecting public tributes to the victims so they can be preserved and catalogued. The tribute will be displayed at the county museum at a later date.

3. Meet Chance, the Gila monster. The Vegas Golden Knights unveiled their mascot Friday night before their 6-3 loss to the Detroit Red Wings. The mascot was met with mixed reactions, with some saying they aren’t even sure what it is, or how it relates to the team.
