Las Vegas police ask public for help to identify possible witness

Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help identifying a possible witness.

On Thursday afternoon the department sent out a surveillance image of a woman in a store in the northwest valley, saying that the woman may have seen some bags being thrown in a dumpster March 23.

Those bags contained items that may have been associated with a crime.

When asked what was in the bags, a department spokeswoman said the investigation is too sensitive to elaborate. But detectives have exhausted every resource to identify the woman to ask her what she saw.

In the photographs, the woman appears to be in her late 20s or early 30s, of average height and build and has long blonde hair. She was wearing black pants, a black shirt and a red jacket.

Anyone who has any information about the identity or whereabouts of the woman can contact the Metropolitan Police Department’s Northwest Area Command investigations section at 702-828-8577.
