Las Vegas police called to southeast valley shooting

Las Vegas police are investigating a Thursday night shooting in the southeast valley.
Lt. W. Graham, a shift supervisor for Metro, confirmed at least one person was shot multiple times in the 5000 block of East Tropicana Avenue, near South Nellis Boulevard. Medical personnel were sent to the area about 8:30 p.m.
One person was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in an unknown condition, police said.
Metro’s gang detectives are investigating.
