Las Vegas police investigate 10-month-old’s death

A 10-month-old baby was pronounced dead Thursday morning after the mother discovered that the baby was not breathing in a southwest valley home, Las Vegas police said.
Police responded to the home in the 400 block of Warminster Avenue about 7 a.m., Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Aden OcampoGomez said.
Metro’s abuse and neglect detectives are investigating, which is protocol when a child dies, OcampoGomez said.
