Las Vegas police investigating ‘suspicious death’

Las Vegas police are investigating what they called a “suspicious death” in the southern valley.

In a statement, the Metropolitan Police Department said it received a call at 10:26 a.m. Thursday about a decomposed body found inside an apartment in the 3600 block of Arville Street, near West Spring Mountain Road.

“Neighbors called reporting the smell,” Metro Lt. Reggie Rader said.

Homicide detectives responded to the scene and found no evidence of foul play, Rader said.

The investigation continues.
