Las Vegas police seek man behind Monday shooting
Las Vegas police are looking for a man they say was involved in a southwest valley shooting Monday.
Police asked for the public’s help Thursday and described the shooter as a dark-skinned man in his late 30s. He is about 5-feet-8-inches tall, weighs about 160 pounds and was wearing a light colored shirt the day of the shooting.
On Monday evening, officers found a man in a car near Decatur Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue. He had been shot four times, probably near Jones Boulevard, investigators said.
He was taken to University Medical Center, where he was treated for four gunshot wounds.
Police are unsure of the reason for the shooting. Anyone with information can call the police’s violent crimes section at 702-828-5634. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
